Contact Us

The best way to find out about the club is to visit us and meet some members.

The club is open on Sundays during terms 4 and 1 from 8.30am until about 4pm.

Our club is run by volunteers, so if your query cannot answered by the frequently asked questions (FAQs) and you’ve had a good look through the website, then send us a message and we will get back to you, hopefully within a couple of days.

Sunday Recap

Adele Phillips

The Sunday Sailing School enjoyed a sunny morning with a light south westerly breeze. The morning lessons wrapped up with some friendly competition over two races. This picture was taken just after the start of the second race, where the sailors captured the last of the dying breeze. The Sabot fleet later competed in the 6th Club Championship race this season.

58th Australian National Sabot Championships and Sabot Week

Adele Phillips

After being post-poned over Christmas, the 58th Sabot Nationals and Sabot Week are being held at Teralba Amateur Sailing Club, Lake Macquarie.

9-12th April 2022

Teralba is a fantastic location for both the experienced sailor and beginners. Representing VA12SC at a national regatta is an honour and club members are eligible to register a club Sabot for Nationals or Sabot Week.

Sabot Week

Teralba is the ideal location for Sabot Week as it provides sailors with a very protected race area and close to shore to allow great viewing. Sabot Week will have its own organisation and will run concurrently to Nationals. Refer page 10 of the Notice of Race for the racing area.

Registration

Late registration fees apply from 21st March.  Only boats registered by 20th March will be included in the regatta handbook.

Measurement

The Southern NSW Sabot Sailing Association (SNSWSSA) is aiming to have the majority of boat and sail measurement requirements fulfilled before the regatta. If you have a new equipment that needs measuring or are using a club boat, please contact the sabot co-ordinator to organise a measurement time.
